Alicia Lloveras ’26 is pursuing her dream of becoming a physical education teacher by majoring in exercise and sport science and secondary education at Carthage. She is grateful for the guidance and challenges provided by her professors, who push her to excel both academically and professionally. Courses like Adaptive Physical Education and Sport, which taught her how to modify sports activities for students with disabilities, have been instrumental in helping her move closer to her career goal.

“My favorite class at Carthage so far was my Adapted Physical Education class. I loved this class because I was able to teach sports activities with students who had disabilities. I learned how to modify the curriculum to make those students excel and participate in the classroom.”
